USDA PRAISES CO PETSAFE PROGRAM
The IAH QUICKPAK team and the Cargo Service Center's Live Animal Desk recently hosted five Animal Care inspectors and
their Director from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) in Washington, D.C. The group selected CO as a model for airline
transport of animals as they work to develop advanced training for USDA Animal Care Inspectors throughout the United States.
The group was briefed on CO's PetSafe program, listened to customer calls and watched the Live Animal Desk in action.
They also observed IAH's QUICKPAK PetSafe team as they picked up and dropped off animals planeside. Members of the USDA team
said they were "absolutely blown away by the quality of Continental's program" and indicated that other airlines should look
to CO as a model.
